Management Policy

As an internationally active manufacturer of organic and inorganic pigments, anticorrosive pigments and pigment preparations, it is our strategic goal to not only maintain but also increase our significant market position in the future.

Our key factors for sustainable economic activity are:

Quality management as well as environmental and safety management are the key issues of the continuous improvement process aimed to achieve our strategic goals. The course of our management is directed by the following guidelines.

Management Policy - Guidelines

Customer Satisfaction

Within the scope of development projects we continuously strive to improve our products and extend our product portfolio in order to comply with the ever changing requirements of the market and our customers. To increase customer satisfaction we therefore emphasize individual customer liaison and support by means of long-term and close cooperation.

Quality Accountability

Our understanding of quality accountability is for us as a company to fulfil with the requirements placed on us, e.g. specific customer requirements of our products, employees’ interests, and compliance with legal and additional regulations as well as conservative use of resources. As this falls within the accountability and influence of every employee, it is mainly attained via social awareness training, qualification and motivation of our staff. An equally important feature is close collaboration with affiliated stakeholders.

Development and CIP

Aimed at further advancement, we have a continuous improvement process by constantly testing our products, processes and organisation. Therefore our projects are based on integral planning, including the aspects of economy, safety, eco-friendliness and health protection. In case of product development this incorporates aspects from raw-material sourcing to end-of-life behaviour. The goal is highest efficiency of all processes from organisation to production, which determines the profitability of our activities, environmental performance and therefore our competitiveness.

Prevention is better than Cure

Our decisions and activities are based on the principles of avoiding mistakes and accidents by anticipatory planning and continuous adaptation to best available technology. Environmental impacts are prevented by controlled generation of waste, wastewater and emissions beforehand.
Post-operative measures, under consideration of safety, eco-friendliness and profitability, are implemented in the case of unavoidable situations.

Safety

We prioritise safe operation of our plants and health protection of staff over commercial interests.  Therefore our plants and safety devices correspond to the best available technology. Procedures for emergency preparedness and response are implemented as well as procedures to review the substitution of dangerous raw materials in order to prevent or mitigate adverse impacts within the premises and beyond.

Environmental Protection

Asides from the aspects detailed in the guidelines above, further elements of environmental protection in our company are conservative use of resources as well as continuous monitoring and control of energy-intensive and environmentally significant processes.

IT-Security

The utilisation of IT-Systems for the processing and saving of information play a key role in ensuring a high degree of economic efficiency as well as success for Heubach GmbH.
Complete, correct and real-time handling of data, with emphasis on safeguarding and protection of the confidentiality of our data, are key requisites in order that our business processes are executed safely.
